Planetarium Shows
While we are extremely versatile in what we do, one specialist area we have is music and sound for planetarium shows. These are usually documentary style shows with science-educational as well as entertaining content. They are formatted for the unique medium of the immersive cinema or 'planetarium', where the visuals are displayed on a dome overhead and therefore surround the viewer. The music and audio for these shows reflects this surround nature of the visuals and utilises 5.1 surround to enhance the 'immersed' effect on the audience.

These fulldome shows appear as a circle when displayed on a flat screen. The center of the image appears overhead in the planetarium with the top of the image appearing behind the viewer. This immersive environment presents significant spatial opportunities for placement of sounds.
